The first issue of the journal Logistics Research (LoRe) was published by Emerald Publishing. Thanks to the work of the Scientific Advisory Board with Prof. Alexander Hübner from the TU of Munich and the Board of Editors, BVL remains a partner of the publication.

Together with logistics consultant and service provider 4flow, the BVL E-Commerce Focus Group has published a study entitled “Sustainable Packaging in E-Commerce.” The study answers questions such as what proportion of shipping costs and emissions are attributable to packaging.

BVL/ifo Logistics Indicator Q4 2025

The figures for the fourth quarter, and November in particular, show that there is still no sustained recovery, let alone a noticeable upturn in the logistics sector. The business situation and business climate stagnated in the fourth quarter for both shippers and service providers.
