The Science Award for Supply Chain Management is aimed at young scientists whose academically outstanding work is particularly relevant to practice and is therefore ideally suited for implementation in everyday working life. The award also includes the supervising institutes and is endowed with €5,000 for the scientist.
Awardee 2021 ist Dr. Pascal Notz for his dissertation „Prescriptive Analytics for Data Driven Capacity Management" at Lehrstuhl für Logistik und Quantitative Methoden in der BWL at the University of Würzburg.
After a pre-selection by the jury, the most promising applicants were asked to submit their full paper and present their work at the International Supply Chain Conference 2021.
In consideration of the presentation, the jury then has made its decision for the winner of the Science Award for Supply Chain Management 2021.
