Victor Kaupe heads the Transport Management & Logistics Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) unit at BASF Coatings, one of the world's leading suppliers of surface solutions.
BASF's Coatings division develops, produces and markets high-quality, innovative and sustainable automotive and automotive refinish coatings, architectural coatings and applied surface technology for metal, plastic and glass substrates for numerous industries.
At four production sites in Europe, Kaupes teams are responsible for the collection of raw materials, production supply and disposal, storage and worldwide shipment of coatings products at plant level. When planning, implementing and managing the chemical value chain, the aim is always to find the most efficient, safest and most reliable route. Digitalization, lean processes and sustainable solutions are used and innovations are driven forward.
Kaupe is passionate about sharing his fascination with and experience of logistics at and outside BASF, in one-on-one discussions, in specialist contributions, alongside and on stage.
