The graduate in business administration with a focus on commerce and logistics has several years of experience in the logistics sector, including serving as the managing director of Hasenkamp, a logistics service provider specialising in deliveries to commercial and private customers, and as head of logistics at the German Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME). Since the end of 2016, he has been the company spokesman and Head of Business Affairs at TIMOCOM. Founded in 1997, this medium-sized IT company headquartered in the Düsseldorf area assists its clients in optimising their logistical processes through its marketplace. For over 15 years, Gunnar Gburek has led an expert group comprising more than 100 procurement professionals of freight services from SMEs and large enterprises across various industries. In recent years, he has also managed an expert group for informal and trust-based exchanges among freight forwarders.
