Together, BVL Austria and Germany based BVL International presenst the Supply Chain Sustainability Award. Both organisations herewith visibly set the topic of sustainability into their activities.
Goal is to give impulses
The annual awarding of Best Practices in terms of sustainability is meant to promote outstanding sustainability projects within the global supply chain community and thus give impulses for sustainability initiatives in economy and science.
Companies from the fields of Industry, Trade and Sciences can apply for the Sustainability Award as well as colaborative research projects that are already realized.
The three pillars of sustainability
Suitable for the award are projects and solutions that come up to the holistics approach of supply chainh management and show relevant results in all three pillars of sustainability, i.e. Ecology, Economy and Social Responsibility.
Theoretical plans or declarations of intent can not be awarded. The size of the company or companies involved is of no importance. The jury consists of representatives from the fields of Industry, Trade, Science, Politics and Media.
Awardee 2018 is Pakadoo from Herrenberg near Stuttgart, Germany. The corporate start-up was chosen for its innovative Service for secure private package delivery to one's workplace. More about Pakadoo: www.pakadoo.de/en.
