The International Supply Chain Conference (ISCC) will take place from October 20-22, 2021. It will be held decentrally in two structurally separate hotels on opposite sides of Budapester Straße, Berlin: the Hotel InterContinental Berlin and the Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof.
The event’s organiser is the Bundesvereinigung Logistik e.V. (BVL).
To ensure that the event is held properly and meets the requirements and demands of infection protection, BVL is in close contact with its event partners, especially representatives of the two hotels.
Particular attention is paid to the development and implementation of a ISCC21 hygiene concept that offers all visitors, guests, exhibitors, and employees of the event partners and the BVL team the best possible health protection.
The basis for the development of the concept are, in particular, the nationally applicable regulations on infection protection as well as the Infection Protection Ordinance of the State of Berlin, as amended from time to time, and the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute. The ISCC hygiene concept takes into account the requirements formulated in the hygiene framework concept of the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Operations for safe events in Berlin during the Corona pandemic, as amended from time to time. In addition, the expertise, recommendations and assessments of our contact persons from the State of Berlin and our expert and consultant Prof. Dr. Brinks (Chair of Medical Biometry and Epidemiology at the University of Witten-Herdecke) are incorporated. Finally, the concept takes into account experiences and findings from other BVL events as well as from our event partners.
The key points of the ISCC21 hygiene concept are listed below (current status: August 18, 2021). This concept is continuously supplemented and updated. It therefore always reflects at least the status of the official requirements. The continuously updated concept, which must be confirmed by all participants in the course of registration, includes the following measures:
Notwithstanding these key points, all visitors, guests, exhibitors, and employees of the event partners are urgently called upon to fulfil their shared responsibility to protect themselves and others from contagious infectious diseases. In case of illness or symptoms, visitors must refrain from attending the event.
