Die Kommunikation für das 6th International Scientific Symposium on Logistics findet vollständig in englischer Sprache statt.
Efficient logistics operations make a key contribution to the success of modern companies. The solution of complex problems in a dynamic environment increasingly requires support from the world of science and research. Two of the characteristic features of successful logistics research are close cooperation with real-world service providers on the one hand and the interdisciplinary thrust of key projects on the other. It is at this interface that logistics related scientific topics have carved out their own niche in recent years.
BVL International promotes these developments on various levels with the support of a Scientific Advisory Board that advises the Executive Board in all questions relating to science and research.
Since it was first held in Magdeburg in 2002, the International Scientific Symposium on Logistics of BVL International has become established as a central forum for the scientifically oriented logistics community.
The aim is to promote the exchange of ideas across specialist and geographic borders in order to encourage the development of totally new models to provide solutions to real-world issues that are of relevance to researchers and scientists. Hamburg, a city with numerous logistics-oriented research institutions and companies, will be the venue for the next conference from June 13-14, 2012. We would like to thank our host, the Kühne Logistics University (KLU).
