BVL International - The Global Supply Chain Network

About 15 years ago BVL started to invest into international contacts benefiting its members.

Events

Budapest, Bratislava, Moscow, Dubai, Shanghai and Rio de Janeiro were locations for BVL Events. Furthermore, committee members explored links for the BVL work in the BRIC states and in Eastern and Southern Europe.

Numerous contacts arise through the European Logistics Association (ELA); partners from the Benelux states have participated in the Logistics Forum Duisburg. The International Supply Chain Conference with its guest-country concept has strengthened the network into the USA, the BRIC states, the Arabic region and into Scandinavia in the past years.

BVL Chapters

With its Vision 2016 BVL has set itself the objective to become an international network for supply chain managemenmt experts and logisticians, meeting the requirements of the logistics sectors’ reality of continuing globalization.

At the end of 2008 BVL formed the first chapter abroad in Shanghai followed by a second one in March 2010 in Beijing. These chapters are the meeting place for supply chain experts from German, Chinese and internationally operating companies, representatives of non-governmental organizations as well as people interested in supply chain management. They are set out to stimulate the local interaction and to establish a German-Chinese supply chain network. Both chapters have a contact base of close to 1,500 professionals, constantly growing.
