Scientific Symposium for Logistics

Since it was first held in Magdeburg in 2002, the Scientific Symposium has become established as a central forum for the scientifically oriented logistics community.

The events in Berlin in 2004, Dortmund in 2006 and Munich in 2008 also brought together scientists and real-world experts from a wide range of disciplines. The idea is to promote the exchange of ideas and opinions across specialist borders with the aim of developing totally new approaches to the solution of real-world issues that are of relevance to the research process.

Representatives of industry, trade and the service sector come together with scientists to discuss challenges and potential problem-solving concepts as well as business management, macroeconomic, technological and technical requirements within the context of topical logistical issues and compare the findings and outcomes with those of leading scientists in the field.
