Registration

The conference fees are exempted from VAT in line with the German tax regulations (section 4 (22) UStG). Upon registration and payment of the attendance fee, you are entitled to the following:

  • Participation in the Conference
  • Detailed conference documentation
  • Midday meal on all three Conference days
  • Refreshments at the designated coffee bars and points
  • Visit to the parallel exhibition
  • Participation at the gala evening on October 19, 2011
  • Participation in the After Work Party on October 20, 2011

If the capacity is exceptional limited, we will ensure for adequate coverage.

Again this year we will take pictures, which will be present in the internet and other media.

Use of RFID technology

After you have registered and your payment has been received before the registration deadline, you will receive a badge with integrated RFID transponder. You must bring the badge with you to the Conference as your admission ticket. If you register during the Conference itself, you will receive your badge directly at the venue after you have paid the registration fee. The badge permits access as well as contact-free check-in to the Conference, and it also serves as your admission ticket to all Conference events. Please always wear your badge so it is easily visible. It is not permitted to transfer the admission ticket and badge.

Your RFID badge will be scanned to allow you to receive your Conference documentation and take a midday meal in the restaurant, and it also serves as your admission ticket to the Senate reception. The same applies to your registration on site for the outdoor sequences on October 19, 2011 at 13:00.

The RFID technology is being used to collect and process participation-related data in order to optimise the organisation of the Conference. Maximum data economy and confidentiality are assured during this process. An optical or acoustic signal at all reader stations where data is being recorded will draw your attention to the fact that data is being collected. The chip integrated in the badge sends an identifi cation number to the reader over a short distance. This number and an interconnected database will then check such things as access authorisation or whether or not Conference documentation has been received.

At the end of the Conference, all the information in this database will be deleted.

If you would prefer anonymised allocation of the identification number to your data during the event, you can request this on October 18, 2011 between 5 and 8 pm or on the Conference days from 8 am at the counter in the foyer of the Hotel InterContinental Berlin.

How to register

To register, please use the registration option on the Internet or the registration hotline at +49 421 1738434. The invoice sent to you serves as confirmation of your registration.

Please make sure that you transfer the invoiced amount, stating the invoice number, before the beginning of the event.

You can only take advantage of hotel quotas if you are a participant at the 28th International Supply Chain Conference.

€ 1,520.- for members of BVL Germany and other ELA member organisations
€ 1,725.-for non-members

Special terms for scientists/researchers and students on request!

If you register at the venue during the Conference, you will be charged an additional registration fee of € 75.-

Electronic appointment tool

In order to simplify communications between participants and exhibitors of the International Supply Chain Conference we provide an electronic appointment tool. We assume that you agree with the storage and publication of your data (name and company details) within this system. If you do not agree, please let us know and we will not include respectively delete your data.

Cancellation

We trust you will understand that cancellations must be made in writing; up to October 5, 2011 a processing fee of EUR 300 will be charged for cancellation.

Participants, who register themselves after October 4, 2011 (press date), can not assert a claim to be mentioned in the list of participants.

For cancellations (in writing, please) after the registration deadline of October 5, 2011 and in the event of non-appearance, you will be charged the full fee! If you are unable to attend, you may notify us of a substitute attendee in writing.

Selected presentations will be simultaneously interpreted. Please hand in your business card when you take out the headphones. If the headphones are not returned, we will levy a charge of EUR 150.

All advertising activities that are not expressly approved by the organizer are prohibited.

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the programme.

The governing law of the Federal Republic of Germany is applicable. Place of fulfillment and jurisdiction is Bremen.

Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) e.V. treats your data in the strictest confidence and only uses the data in compliance with the data protection regulations. By registering and accepting the Conditions of Participation, you also agree in particular to the publication of personal details that are of relevance for the event as well as data concerning the company named by you in the directory of participants and on the name badge for this event.
