Awards, new blood sponsorship

On the day before the Conference, there will be a workshop for PhD candidates to promote the work of up-and-coming researchers in the logistics field. High potentials from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be invited to the workshop, which is designed to advance networking between the scientific community of the future and which includes participation at the International Supply Chain Conference on the three following days as well as a festive get-together on the evening of the workshop.

Sponsoring workshop for PhD

The Science Award for Supply Chain Management is awarded in recognition of a scientific project of substantial innovative character supplying independent findings or new insights and solutions in the field of logistics. The prize, which carries a cash award of EUR 10,000 for the winner and EUR 10,000 for the institute supporting the project, is awarded in the presence of the sponsor at the concluding event of the Conference. The sponsor can personally hand over the cheque to the winner during the event.

In a parallel event the applicants for the Science Award for Supply Chain Management present their works to the participants of the conference. The sponsor promotes this sequence with € 10,000.–. The sponsoring is mentioned in the programme.
