| BVL/DIW Logistics Indicator 4th Quarter 2009 - Realistic Optimism for 2010 |
 |
 |
Twelve months ago, in the fourth quarter of 2008, the BVL/DIW Logistics Indicator moved towards the normal line "from above". The logistics market began to slow, and assessments of the economic situation in the late autumn of 2008 were better than expectations for the future. Today, following a year of global economic upheavals and setbacks that also had a serious effect on logistics in Germany, we see a different picture: the logistics indicator is now approaching the normal line "from below". This time around, the positive expectations for the coming year are the dominant feature of the survey. Assessments of the current situation are also more positive than in the previous quarters - but are still below the normal level. >>Charts and Commentaries |
